"Comprised of
Psykosonik founder Daniel Lenz and vocalist/keyboardist Free, their mutal love
for the sturdy songwriting talents of Depeche Mode
and the Cure has them leading electronic music into
a new frontier. (...) Searching For The End, the debut release from Hednoize,
is the promising beginning for this dark pop electronic band as they begin to
hit the road. (...) Both originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Daniel and
Free wrote, produced, and mixed an entire album of amazingly sophisticated and
self-created electronic sounds, inventive textures, and brooding vocals over
the course of three grueling years in their newly found studio in Southern
California. Inspired by experimental forms of sound design and instrumentation
as well as a mutual appreciation for solid songwriting practiced by bands like
Depeche Mode, Nine Inch
Nails, U2, and Lenny Kravitz, Hednoize has created a
hybrid of mutated sonics and soulful vocals."

1999:
Searching for the End
A surprisingly strong debut album by this new american duo
who's influences clearly range from Depeche Mode to
more industrial sounding bands like Front 242.
"Searching for the End" is a cohesive collection of 11 dark
electronic tunes that scream Depeche's Barrel of
a Gun in a very Hednoize-like unique way. An album certain to capture the
electro-pop scene... and a new talent to watch closely.
Favorite picks: Loaded Gun, Devil's Train, Pay me no
mind.
